hi everynow and then my headlight arnt working just the low beams and then they'l just flick back on suddenly, sometimes they will work but other times they wont, so pretty sure its not bulbs

Check fuses and relays...then get back to us.

ive checked fuses, which relay would the low beams be on? i thought there was just fuel and ecu relays? or which fuse would it be on it doesnt say there a fuse for low beams, ive checked every fuse anyway and none look like they burnt out

Could be the circuit breaker for the headlight circuit. It's just behind the relay bank next to the battery. Look for a purple/white wire IIRC. You can replace it with a self resetting CB from Jaycar. Chassis mount 12v 30A. Cost is about $12.

Here we go, found a photo. I mounted it under the coolant bottle:
