Can't remember off the top of my head which is which, but I think the base models and high series models (fairmont and up) take different globes. Hold up and I'll check for ya.

Hi,

My EL has H1 for low, and on high the H3 comes on also. As they age, the Lens and reflector will dull. There are some articles here on fixing that, but if you plan to keep the car think about a " Twin light " conversion. Not cheap but you will have standard size lights that will take bigger globes. ( use some relays and bigger wire ) An XR front may be nice, but expensive, and it takes more time to fit and some parts are no longer made. It would also make your car a target for thieves.
