So all of your comments above, directed at my comments, are totally invalid.
The basis for my comment "by fitting HID, you're making it worse for yourself" is on the back of those that adjust their headlights down so as to not glare other drivers. Since you did not adjust your lights, you have zero basis for comment. |

no, you said something about white light, contracted pupils, etc etc. Couldn't be f**k reading again.
Anywho, HIDs FTW. This set out of my Laser will be going into the EA Ghia I bought for the daily drive.

Let me help you, since it seems you won't help yourself.
I said "bright", not "white". And again, it was all based on the headlights being adjusted down. Of course HIDs are going to be brighter, they are a much more efficient light source. Since you hadn't adjusted yours down, to be kind to other motorists, yours will be lighting up heaps more of the road and surroundings in front of you (that's called glare, and everyone around you hates it) Maybe you should try to understand what's been written a little better before getting argumentative over something you haven't even read properly. |

Like I said. Been flashed once. So the "glare" can't be that bad

I can see what you're saying. I guess, being a Laser that has been lowered, the headlights are fairly low to the ground. BUT, in the other hand, 4WDs that have been lifted, the headlights are gunna be right in your face.

Guys how high should you reckon the light beam should shine up against the wall for optimum performance ?
My lights shine 45cm up the wall from the car back about 4m. Are they too low you reckon or to high. See pic below but it makes the lights look higher than what they really are in the photo. The photo makes them look way high lol.

I will check mine over the weekend but mine look about the same as yours!
They're basically adjusted right down and are still great compared to stock halogen globes lol...
