Hi

I am trying to track down a keyless fob for my nl fairlane, both my ones have gone through the wash and no longer work.

Now when i go to use the car the alarm keeps going off because i cant disarm it. i need to replace it but only ford sell them to my knowledge and they said they are obsolete.

if i got a remote for a BA would that work with earlier models?

Regards

Barry

Goto bunnings/masters and buy some contact cleaner, open the key fob and drench the circuit bird in it the wave it around wait 3 minutes and try again.

My sister spilled a glass of water on her laptop, I basically done the same thing.

are there any other ones that are still available that will work with the earlier model.

i find it unaceptable that ford obsolete something without replacing it with something.

If its just the smartlock remote try a few wreckers. Im sure they will have some from the keys for the wrecks. I think they are all the same from EBII to AUI.
Also ebay and shops like mister minute sell them.
