Won't work, Series 1 Au and series 2 are not compatable. You will need a series 2 cluster.

Out of Curiosity.

Has there ever been a Police Cluster made for AUII?

I've never come across one in any wrecking yard in Brisbane.

Cheers

Hi there, yes there was.. However they are quite rare, they come up on eBay every few months. They usually cost around $250 delivered

Hi WhtXRwgn,

Thanks for that info, I would not have known that. Police cluster, does that mean the cluster was built for and/ or came out of Police vehicle?

Cheers

Hi, yes it does.. upon release the Police Cluster was as the name suggests a Police issue only. It is the same as the XR cluster except you can change your speedo reading.

Hi WhtXRwgn,

How interesting. The Police Cluster is the one than can change the speedo reading or is the XR Cluster?

I don't suppose the XR Cluster will go into an AUII by any chance

Cheers

indeed it is.. the XR cluster can go into an AUII, it requires a little re wiring though.. i have been looking for an AUII speedo wiring diagram for a little while now and i cant find one, that will be the only thing holding you back

Wow, I'm a bit confused now.

Is the XR Cluster identical to the Police Cluster?

AUII Speedo wiring diagram , I would have thought that might be in the "Technical Document" but apparently not

the XR Cluster is identical to the Police Cluster, they just function differently.. that makes 2 of us when it comes to the "Technical Document" i have searched everywhere for the AUII Cluster diagram

Ok, thanks, that clarifies it. If I find such a diagram I'll let you know.

Cheers
