re just read yours Tim & yeah ignore my comments ... for two reasons

1- didn't know about the holdens stuff

2- forgot the fords are reverse re powering lights etc

Thanks mate, will give that a go as you suggested

From my previous post. I did try to test the relay again with power on i.e. with headlights on and dimer switch for high beam, with wire going direct from + battery terminal to spottie terminal on relay, still had same problem.

Hi all,

Update.

After testing all relays, wires and wondering why the spotties failed to light up. Never occurred to me to take a good look at the filament. Both my spotties had blown filaments, hence no light.

All sealed beams (General Electric) 250Watts each one. Lucky for me I had 2 spares, all going good again.

Hence why it was my first step to check with a multimeter... Blown filaments and fuses can't always be seen with the naked eye...

Good to see its fixed!
