Morning guys,
I have a problem with '98 XH longreach, yesterday it wouldn't start, so needed a tow home, I noticed the smartlock light flashing. After some googling I managed to get it started, but now the wipers are stuck on intermittent. Any help would be appreciated.

WOW what a trip! I've got exactly the same problem with my xh panel van! Only joined the forum to comment on your post challenger. Have you had any luck?my situation is this..... Had 4 fast flashes on smart lock which I think is starter relay (tell me if that's wrong) instead of bypassing the BCM I picked up a replacement from the local wrecker this afternoon. Installed said item and now wipers are stuck on intermittent. Hope you solved the problem and can post it here, thanks

Hi Newbie, still no luck with my problem, I've unplugged the offending wipers, so when it rains i will need to replugem' I guess

What method did you use to get it started?

Panno, I read in some other post that a couple thumps under handbrake mount while trying to start fixes the problem, well it kinda does, at least I can start the thing now, but the wipers are still an issue
