I finally bit the bullet and decided it's time for the LTD to receive some love. As many know I puchased it 3 years ago and vowed to keep it stock - pfft!

One important rule is 'what goes fast must stop' - so I picked up some 4 pot Brembo's for the front, and some PBR2's for the rear - per BF GT/F6. No issues with clearance under the 20's.. just waiting on brake lines and we'll be ready to roll!

More info to come on the already completed underbonnet work next week :)

Time for an update! Stage 1 of the upgrade is completed and tuned, turning out a very pleasing 170RWKW on the Crescent Motorsport dyno, a big jump from the 130RWKW at stock.

Upgrades include:
Pacemaker Competition Extractors
Wade 992af12 Cam
Yella Terra 1.7:1 Roller Rockers
Mild upper and lower intake porting
Custom Flash Tune

I'll be retaining the factory intake and heads, but looking to move to 75mm Throttle Body, 90mm MAF and 42lb/hr injectors, thus paving the way for a blower and aiming for a modest 250-300KW

Big thanks to Joe and Reynold @ Crescent for their work, and also to Jase for his cameo

Stay tuned :)

I've considered taking them off - but actually, they never hit! The paint is a little messed up underneath from when they used to hit with the 16's fitted. I'll take them all off one weekend and evaluate the situation :)

The only down side to removing those fugly mud thingies is the stones chip the hell outta your paint, my sills look like the paint has been hit with buck shot and the back bumper sides are starting to get quite bad too.

Nothing quite like a big set of stoppers.

Just be sure to be sitting down when you price up replacement pads.

Yeah...lol....

Sounded nice at idle at the dyno day. The wheels suit it for sure. Just need some more power...hehehe

Nice, neat vehicle.
