Hey all, I've just bought an AU II series ute and it does not have the Litres Per Hundred display my EL fairmont had.

I'd be happy to hear I can just buy one ready made to fit, but a way to get it working on a small form factor pc (or netbook) under the car seat, connected to a dvd screen showing me error codes, coolant temperatures, brake rotor temperatures and air intake temps would just be a dream come true.

This is my next mission, to get all those displays onto a 7inch or so single din dvd screen.

I figured oil pressure, oil temp and boost/vac measurements can be taken using standard gauges, it will reduce the overall complexity.

Any advice guys?
Matt

Does anyone know if any of the scangauge range suits the AU II?
