Hi fella's,have been having starting and idling issues with my XG-ute, so have decided to upgrade my injectors with 20 lb au injectors, question is I have a 300 kpa xr6 regulator here but will it make any difference without a fuel pump upgrade as the engine is stock besides pacemakers-2 & a half " sports exhaust with a large pod filter and thermo fans, any input much appreciated,ta in advance,John.

On a stock engine, the 300kPa reg won't do anything. Have you installed the AU injectors already? I found the engine ran slightly smoother with them (but then the original injectors I had could have been partially blocked... ). Have the spark plugs, fuel filter and fuel pump ever been replaced?

Hi,yea replaced plugs fuel filter, just got the injectors in this evening-made big difference in mine but the old injectors and ports were full of dirt and carbon,id say thats why they've made a big difference, better throttle response too,I havnt changed the fuel pump thou-do think I should and if so standard or should I go with a bigger pump?

Stick with the standard fuel pump unless you're planning to add a supercharger or turbo.
