Can anyone help me decide on a chip up-grade to my AUIII XR8? What are your prefs, what chip do you rate, do I need dyno tuning etc. Have patience with this newbie!!!

lol well iv got an Au motor im my Eb and im running a unichip and that seems to be allright

Did you have it plug and play or tuned?
I'm going down the track of exhaust, chip.

Nice EB, did you have it re-sprayed?

no respray just keep clean. umm with the chip i went to blue oval garage and they fitted it and dyno tuned it so yer they arnt really plug in and play have u got a kn filter yet??

EBTS50, when I said be patient, I meant be REALLLLY patient.

Mate, I have done zero to the car. Had it for a year, it was a Telstra Exec's toy, done 40,000km, dont think it ever got over 3,000rmp. So thats the background if you have a sudden urge to care! lol.

Can you give me a 1, 2, 3 for the Windsor? ie; where to start?

seeing as u have an au xr u may wanna consider a flash tuner as they are now available.

They seem to be the goods and pretty well priced compared to the brand name chips

i would go full exhaust, K & N filter then flash tuner. that should get u up around 180rwkw maybe.

If your budget is ~$1500, I wouldn't bother with the exhaust or filter. Just not worth the dollars at this stage of the mods.

As mentioned in the other thread....just get a custom tune with the edit from a very good tuner (e.g. Bluepower)
