Hi Guys,
I just bought an XG/EB engine and im wondering what this ECU originally was fitted to. I got it with a pile of bits so im not sure if its the right ECU.
These are the numbers
091093-2
3DAC
EEC-IV
NPF 3J09
*CHBAK&^H08HY*
93DA-12A650-AC

Thanks for your help

Well its a 1993 V8 EEC, thats all I can tell you. It will run it because there are no major changes between the V8 EEC's anyway.

What came out in 93? Most EB/ED stuff is marked 92DA. Perhaps its from a NC/DC Fairlane?

Hi.
Ok I thought it might have possiby been a manual ECU due to the fact that there is a spoigot bearing in the end of the crank. So if I am going to use an auto transmission I am going to need an Auto ECU? Can I use an ECU out of an EF? What should I pay for a secondhand reconditioned EF ECU that has come out of a car? I am not sure how many ks since it was recoed. The other Drama is that the engine is a SIX! Not a V8! If it is a V8 ECU for a manual does that mean its a sellable item?
Thanks Corey

My information shows its for an EB2 / ED manual I6, not a V8.

AC model ecus are usually I6 manuals.
