My Climate Control has gone blank in the EF Fairmont.
What does it usually mean when the screen goes blank and the only funtion that works is the fan, and fan speed stuck on face level?

Yeah seems the globe has gone on the thing. I can see the screen faintly with headlights on. Still functions okay after all.
I'll have that dash cover off next week, are the lamps easy to replace?

yeah they are. They are a T5 wedge (i think thats what they are called) the same sort of globe thats in the lights under each corner of the dash.

when the climate control unit is out, you just have to pull on the respective globe holder
