Would it be possible to retrofit AU coil packs onto a 250 Xflow out of an XF and use an ignition module such as an MSD, Crane or haltech to control timing? How difficult would this be to do?

It could be done using a full aftermarket ECU, such as Motec, Haltech, EMS, etc.

You would also need a Cam Angle Sensor and a Crank Angle sensor as REF and SYNC.

you might just want to hook up a ignition only computer or msd make a programmable distributor less ignition box

That was the idea and I was hoping to do it using wrecking yard parts.
