My El Falcon just got its engine check by Challenger Ford for $100 dollars. The spark plug Gaps where off and the MAP sensor had a leak.
Ohhh... and my injectors need cleaning. Would him fixing the map sensor leak and the gaps cause my car to back fire and have strong hard strain on the engine at certain throttle?

Sure would.

Have they fixed it yet? Because both are very easy and cheap to do yourself.

yeah his fixed the MAP Sensor and the gaps in the spark plugs but now it has come back worse then when it went it. backfiring every now and then and the idling and decreasing in speed is atroshis. Im saving to get my injectors cleaned because when decreasing in speed if you watch the rev gauge, it jumps up and down and i think it mkight be because the fuel filter and injectors are really dirty.

Could it be the points in the Dizzy???

nah, the dizzy doenst have points

I would be looking at the ISC. It sits on top of the throttle body and controls the idle speed. They are prone to getting clogged up with carbon and sticking causing bad idle, so you just need to take it off and give it a good clean out with some carby cleaner.

Edit: sorry, just read that your having these probelms all the time, not just at idle. If they said the injectors are blocked then that could well be it. The spark leads, TFI module, or coil could also cause similar problems.
