gday. wondering if anybody can help me. i have a eb falcon with an el engine. got the conversion to a point where it will start, eventually, and run brilliant. until you put your foot on the loud pedal, when it just completely dies. then i can hear the fuel in the rail bubbling. we have put a brand new pump in and still didnt make a difference. does anybody have any ideas?

have you checked fuel pressure?
you haven't got the fuel lines round the wrong way?

do the 6s have a schrader valve on the rail like the 8s?
if not you might need to tee a gauge in before the reg somehow.

the only valve on the rail is at the back. its a vacuum operated switchfor the fuel return. i initially thought that had stuck open, not allowing the rail to build pressure. is this a possibility?
