car companies worry ONLY about, getting slightly better fuel economy than the other cars in that class, and meeting the minimum emmissions standards that they have to adhere to. Exceeding either of these by a significant margin (unless its a fluke) would be bad business sense

What absolute rubbish.

That means the Toyota Prius Hybrid is bad business sense because it gets around 5 litres per 100km in the city?

As a fleet buyer, would you buy Fords if Holden suddenly halved their fuel consumption?

Remember, the car makers ONLY care about getting the car out of the showroom. After that, they couldn't care less. Even if 1% better fuel economy came from one of these s**t devices, they'd all have them on.

Anybody that believes this garbage should come and buy one of my $290 hot earth kits that are guaranteed to give you 40rwkw more.

I can get a couple of chunky server hard disk magnets (full high drives.... old skool) stick them on the fuel line and see how it goes.

seriously, the only way to dramatically save fuel, is to drive less, and not as hard!
