Can anybody shed any light on what pin 38 does for EECIV V8 ECU. The computer is from an EB2, catch code 1DJB. I'm just using it for a project, not in the original vehicle so I can't trace the wires back. None of my wiring diagrams show what this connects to, but it does go to the white multi-pin connector (about 12 wires, not the smaller 4 wire plug) near the ecu.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the super quick reply. I see that the post referred to has BAP input which was discontinued from 2/92 onwards. Mine is EB2, non-BAP so falls after this date. Do you know under what conditions over-ride would happen so I can confirm this pin still has the same function?

The project is an EECIV test bed. I have an engine, transmission, cooling system, charging, EEC, exhaust plus engine oil pressure and temperature monitoring all set up in a pipe frame on wheels. All running OK, no engine fault codes, just need a plug from the wreckers tommorrow for transmission diagnostics codes.

Thanks again
