G'day all. I just want to know if the fuel pump is of higher pressure on the XR6 models or is this Just the regulator that alters the difference?

eg. regulator on these models
275kpa GLi
300kpa XR series

Fuel regulators set the pressure. All teh fuel pump does is pump. Is has no brain to tell it to pump X flow @ Y pressure.
