Would an EL ecu limit rpm if the thermo fan circuit is not connected?

It shouldnt?.. my EL was running fine when all 3 of my thermo fan relays had blown and my thermos werent working.. till i realised and didnt like that idea so fixed the problem ahah, :shock:

a cheap aftermarket dizzy can chew your aux shaft out. Causing issues

seems to run alright, just like hitting a rev limiter 3-3500 rpm. have to check fuel pressure i spose.

If you have not done so already, try swapping the coil for a known good one. I had the same problem and that's what it was.
