Pretty much I wanna put in my EL XR6 manual computer in my ED but I dont have the BBM installed at this point, will this be an issue?

shouldnt be from the BBM pov, it only has a 12v high when its over 3800rpm so it'll be fine

theres some pin out info in the tech docs, suggest you have a look there as there are a few other minor things you may have to worry about.
