Hey everyone, ive got a 97 el falcon and recently ran outa fuel on my way home. after i got the car home, the next day i put around 30liters of fuel into the tank, tried to start it and no go!! ive left it sitting for a week now and it still dosnt wanna click over.
Ive tried to tip a lil fuel into the throttle body to get it pumping threw and it fires up straight away then stalls agian. doas anyone know what is wrong ?? |

sounds like youve either got a blocked fuel filter, or fuel pump.
can you hear the pump going when you first click the car to the ON position?

Yah i can deffs hear the fuel pump whinning when i turn the key

check fuel pressure then if its definitely working

swap out the fuel filter, under the rear passenger side. most likely really gunked up
Should cost about $15
