Hey people just a quick question, how many rwkw do the standard EL injectors support? I am shooting for 160-180rwkw with my planned mods, I've heard the au injectors have a better spray pattern or something, just stay with those or get 36-42lb/hr aftermarket ones?

you will be at the limits with standard injectors, id go for 24lb or 32lb. What ECU are you using?

with the big cams on the 6's the idle gets pretty rich and the J3 doesn't seem to cope too well with it. WOT is fine

Id probably go the EV6 type injector, they have a better spray pattern than the EV1's. Im pretty sure the AU V8's had the blue EV6 type injectors and were 24lb

The J3 has no problem with big injectors when tuned correctly. I have run 42lb injectors N/A with a 1521a and had no issues at all (when I took my blower off to rebuild).

But the main point worth making here is, 19lb injectors are more than suitable for 160-170rwkw N/A. Larger injectors != more power. So many people contact me about putting some crazy injector on their stock 6 cylinder it's not funny.

Cheers,
Jason

Are the 19lb the standard size injectors? LOL that's why I asked, not that I was expecting to put fooly hektik 1000cc units in haha

Maybe my cam was too big for the J3 to idle properly?? 19lb would be pushing the limits big time with a true 170rwkw. I was hitting 97% duty cycle with 21lb injectors at 186rwkw
