I have a Ford IDS VCM. The program can reflash the ECU by stock calibration. I found the calibration file was zipped and it's a *.PHF file. I wonder if possible any program to read it? Then I can modify the parameters/tables and save. And reflash the ECU by this new file via IDS.

The point is can the file be read and save?

I attached the file here, anybody can help? Thanks!

cause its not an allowed file type. What type of car is this suited to, is it OBDI or II? Im interested to know what you can do with this.

where did you get this VCM.
Also you need the actual IDS as the calibration information all comes from within the IDS Software

I can get the functionable VCM including all the software and calibrations. Even the update files annually.

I have tested it, all functions work well as it in Ford service workshop.

if you want to attach it just change the extension to .jpg or .xls or whatever...then when someone downloads it they can change it back to the original .phf

This file is for FORD Focus. it's just a example.

The IDS comes with 7403 calibrations covering all FORD vehicles and ECUs. The sample file is only the one of them.
