So last night I get woken up by my father wanting to know why the fuel door was not opening unless he pried it open with a screwdriver.
I've gone out there today and took off the button surround and made sure the wire was in place properly, and there was no issues with the wiring itself (That I could see)
I also tried swapping it with a mate's EF Falcon and it still had the same problem:
When I press the button, absolutely nothing happens.
No spring bounce noise,
No door flap noise,
nothing.

Could it be a fuse or something along those lines,
if so, what fuse is allocated to the fuel door?

If it's a sedan there should (from memory) be a fuel door release pull tab thing in the boot on the passenger side. If it's a wagon you need to remove the pass side trim in the back and pull on the little loop on the back of the solenoid. In answer to your question, not that I'm aware of. May have to replace the entire release solenoid.

Yeah it's the wagon.
I hope it's nothing too intricate, because it's not my car... and more than likely I'll get the blame for it.
