I just had my EL 6cylinder injectors removed and cleaned and was given a report on the before/after clean results.. as follows
...................cylinder 1 . 2 . 3. 4.. 5 . 6
flow results before 37 42 44 41 30 40
......................after 48 48 48 48 48 48

resistance 16.0, 16.2, 16.0, 16.1 , 16.0, 16.0

can anyone give me more info on the flow results..ie whats the maximum, is it 48 or could it be better??
and also the resistance..slight variances, what should it be?

Thanks....Mick..

If flow tests were provided then I would say they were done properly on a bench

the resistance is fine

Yes..removed and tested on equipment..so does anyone know about the flow rates?? is 48 good or average or is that the original specs? or is that the maximum possible with standard injectors?

48 is going to be some volume of fuel in some time, but I am not sure what volume/time units they used.

For what its worth the injetors should flow around 191 cc/min (19lb)

I was impressed..It feels/seems like i need less throttle for more power... The real test will be when I get to do a bit of driving to check the fuel economy...It was shocking before and I'm hoping for a huge improvement..
total cost was $300 all up with a new fuel filter..

Outright flow rate is not nearly as important as having all the injectors flowing as close to the same rate as possible.

Looks like money well spent.
