Hi folks, gotta remove the fuel pump from the Millenium Falcon (ED Sedan) Anybody managed to do it without making/using the specified special tool??

Do you mean the screw cap that holds the pump/ sender unit in? If so just undo the clamp around it and then grab a wide blade blunt flat head and gently tap the screw cover off with a hammer. Hit it so it moves but dont hit it too hard as you will break the fins. Easy job, just can take a little time.

Yeah, that's the one. I will give that a go. My manual says to tighten it again may take 110 nm torque :( . that's head bolt tight! :shock:
