Hey all, I've had a haltech E6X installed in my AUIII XR6 Turbo and some of you might have seen this build in the Garage forum under (AUIII XR6 Turbo). I've had a mate change a bit since the install and tune, everything he has done for me has made the car run better not faster but better since it is my every day car as well.I have recently moved to a new town and other shops want me to get rid of the haltech and change to a wolf or link ECU, i have seen some great cars run on these ECU's but it has cost me so much to get this done the first time i don't know if i'm goin backward or foward.

The car has the following:
Stock AU XR6 motor, compression (9.6)
Crow Double valve springs
42lb injectors
Bosch 040 in tank fuel pump
Rising rate fuel reg
50mm waste gate Which controlls boost at the moment
Garrett 35/40 turbo
3" cooler piping
3" mandrel bent exhaust
T5 gearbox

If any one can shed some light as i'm not to up on the seen with ECU's as this Is my first project.

Thanks in advanced

Chris

i swear by the wolf v500 i have, best thing since slided bread, but if you allready have the haltech why change, they both do the same , enable you to change the tune of the engine, the problems not the ecu it more the tuners your talking too, do as i did learn more about your own system and do it your self, youll end up with a better tune manley because you drive it the most and any change you make only youll notice first.

wolf v500 is the best value if your buying new, but what you got will work
