With hi stalls the ECC4 goes into limp once the stall gets over around 2500rpm. I know JMM know how to get around this. Its probably a 5cent resistor mod to the ECU. Any one know how to stop the ECU going into limp mode???

I dont think that jmm have got around it, they have just picked the biggest stall before the ecu goes to lhm.

My understanding is that the ecu will will go into lhm when when it picks up on a lot of slip in the gearbox by comparing rpm and speed. The only way around it that i can see is to feed the ecu a fake vss signal until you reach rpeed.

2800 is actually the limit. My 5.0 has a 2800stall, and i dont have a problem

I thought the stock converter was 2500. how much of a difference would 300rpm make?
