I am getting 600-625km per 65 litres of V-power and 450-500km per 61 litres of LPG. Went all the way to Rockhampton and back without going near a petrol station(round trip was 1206km via the Warrego/Leichhardt Hwy from Toowoomba to Rocky) so I was suitably impressed with a 162000km V8 engine. Happy days...

Pretty sedately mostly, 1/4 throttle. Change up at 2500. But, the dash to work probably doesn't help much.

I fill up at 1/4 tank and I have usually done 350 - 400km.

I have never seen more than 500km in an EF I have owned.

I think right now I would get about 400 around town and 450 freeway. Give or take.

I'm lucky if I get more than 320kms out of 72L. I usually fill up when the light pops on, which ideally is pay day every week anyway. But over the 6 weeks I've had it, it works out to be ~18L/100km, which is horrid. I'd call it town driving, not massive traffic, and the odd spell on the freeway as well

i have a stock ED 4.0 5 speed and only get 500km per tank city driving only - also drive in 5th gear over 70kph - when i give it a boot for the week it can go down to 450km per tank - roughly 13.6l/100km and 15l/100km - can't get down to the Ford quoted 12l/100km but this figure is bs and now Ford have to quote urban and extra urban figures which i saw on a xr8 was up to 18-20l/100km - on the highway i get 700km per tank easy but nowhere near the 850 Ford quoted - looking at putting in black au injectors and then the 300kpa xr6 fpr to seee if things improve (i use woolies ulp, shell ulp, bp e10)

500km per tank! I can only dream of numbers like that! I'm getting between 300-350 :s

500km per tank is driving like Miss Daisy and using 5th gear alot. No highway driving at all as I work and live in the city. Problem is the ecu has learnt for economy mode and when I floor it it does nothing. Most 4 cyls beat me at the lights. Every 3 months I disconnect the battery overnight to reset the ecu and she goes better, except for the idle hunting and stalling for the first few weeks but I'll live with it.
