On Petrol I wouldn't know, I hardly use it, just to start and for short drives here and there, though I only use Premium.

LPG I get around 660-700km a tank, about $40 to fill from empty on average.

1998 Hybrid EL Sedan.

You run E85? Is it tuned or a timebomb waiting to happen?

I had a look at my fuel usage before on the trip computer in my EL Fairmont wagon and around town I'm averaging 12.8L per 100 Kilometers. Don't know if thats good or bad. I'll be heading down to Melbourne next week so I'll see how many litres it goes through on highway usage.

LOL thats good man.

In the EL XR6, i had by foot down alot and was getting round 16L to 17L per 100kms.
If nice and fair to it, round your figure
Hwy, round 8L per 100kms

Funny thing is that it seems to drink a hell of alot more than 12.8L per 100kms. From Mildura to Adelaide I went through almost a full tank and it's mostly highway driving.

And on a 3.45:1 Diff, too (according to your tag) thats pretty awesome. What kind of engine management are you using? Im just using a EL+J3 with a 98+ tune. Everything standard at this time.
My next mod is diff.. I must have a 2.9:1 because its terrible off the line and rarely will kick down to 1st.

I had a 1994 EB V8 (bog standard engine - no tune) and managed to get just under 600Km a tank of highway driving with 20km of twisties and steep climbing / descent in the middle.
You to nurse it to get that though, if the foot went down even a bit you'd lose 80k a tank easy.

Now have a a 1998 Fairmont that I thrash the hell out of and still get 620K + a tank. No tune (yet) - just lightened it and put in CAI & pod filter.

With a better engine note (Pacemaker's are in the pipeline) and better low down torque I'm hoping it'll be around the same fun factor as the V8 but a lot more efficient.
