Not sure if the fuel line is different to sedans, but this is an EF wagon, they have the steel tank, different pump and it's on the side. Anyone know how to disconnect the lines? I need to get the tank out, clean it out and replace the pump, but don't wanna break those connections as probably be a pain in the a*** to replace the line...

you pull the steal or ally fitings to wards the plastic iner fittings thay just slide if thay are tight spray some wd40 on them it will come off

I found that they are an absolute PITA to get off. Best to use some pliers or vice grips and a lare flat head screwdriver.

Grip the metal fitting at the end of the flexable hose, but don't squeeze too tight as you will crimp the line. Use the flat head to push the white/clear palstic inner fitting towards the pliers while pushing the pliers towards the fuel pump. So basically your hands are pusjing towards one another.

Now here is the trick. Shake and twist and pull and push and yell out every swear/curse you can think of. When you reportoire is exhausted the lines will magically slip off. Guaranteed to work everytime.

If it doesn't work you forgot a swear work. Try again.
