will the j3 chip from a manual ed fit in a manual au falcon?going to run same cam.asking because im selling my old cam to a mate and the chip is set to the cam.and will it need tunning?

au ecu is different and the ed j3 wont work on it..

A little Bird told me if you use a el rocker gear or swap the el shims and pushers into the au rocker gear it will work.

the shims and HLAs aren't the problem. the lobe spacing on the cam is different

Ahh I see...i missed the part where you were selling all the rocker gear, hence wondering (as unless you are getting it cheap wouldn't be much point).

dont bother explaining it to him youv done it enough, if he wants to go and try it against the information youve given him let him f**k it up lol

The J3 itself will work fine in an AU. It just needs to be retuned.

i ment that it wont work, as in the ed file wont work on the au ecu..
