Hey modders, just wondering if I was to put a K&N panel filter in My BA would I notice a Difference in the drive? Cheers

I didnt notice any difference.

I believe high flow panel filters are just a mod to support future mods. Like a bigger snorkel, different cam(s), exhaust etc etc

I wouldnt know the exact wording, but upgrading the air filter isnt really regarded as an add power type mod, like cams or exhausts (to an extent) its more a making sure there IS'NT a restriction, like what 89.SVO said..

so i have the full exhuast on my el with a mandrel bent intake soon will i see a benfit with a aftermarket "performance" filter, and no i do not mean your $30 sca ones

Iv noticed a change in the cars "drive" you can usually spot it buy the gay sticker they put on the window!!!

^^ this guy lol. I ended up putting one in but didnt notice any change. Few weeks later I had a full exhaust system put in so now I can only feel the exhaust performance lol

Haha,

When I used to drive ricers I had a pod filter and it used to make a whistle on acceleration. Other than that not much!

I'm startin to think and feel that pods are really only a power mod for rice cars.. Along with the sticker and neons...

And for the induction noise on other applications...
