I have issues with my 1995 EF Falcon Wagon. It has a problem starting and at first i thought it was the pump so i took that out and replaced it. Still nothing happening, i spoke to a few friends that have worked on this model before and they suggested i look at either the checking the fuel filters and also suggested unplugging the fuel lines at the engine end and checking if fuel is coming through (which i will do). Lots of people are telling me however the Ignition Modules are notoriously good at f*****g out (lack of better words mind my french). Can anyone help with the location of the module? I have a donor car with all parts i need its just a matter of swapping it (Also the donor car is in mint cond and running well)

Ignition Module on an EF, please clarify what you are wanting.

You have a coil pack and the ECU with the EF along with Cam sensor and Crank angle sensor.

On EA -ED/EL you have ECU, Dizzy, TFI Module, Coil.

People may be telling you about the TFI Modules which aren't on an EF.

To be honest i hav'nt got the slightest idea what im saying really, i just ask questions in the hope i get the answer im looking for, it simply wont start and it seems more like either a line blockage or some sort of Electrical issue with starting, do you think you could help me diagnose the issue?

3 things needed to get an engine to fire and in the correct ratio,

1) Spark (Coilpack/Leads/Plugs
2) Fuel (Fuel Pump/Fuel Filter/Injector pulse/Injectors/Fuel Reg.
3) Air (Air Filter)

Check for spark at the plugs first.

Could be Coilpack/Leads/Plugs any one or a combination of any.

Did you change the Fuel filter when you did the Fuel pump?
