Hey everyone, thanks for looking and (if you do) thanks for the help..

I'm looking at getting a new shell for the Lowlane. I've found a NC, but I has an electrical issue..

When turning the key to ON all the lights come up ok on the dash, smart lock goes out as normal an dosnt flash fast like it's activated when the key is off. but when turned to start nothing happens like the car is in D, and the brake fail light comes on, however it isn't instant like it normally comes on, it takes a second to slowly glow up to full brightness.

Any ideas on where to look or what it may be would be great.

I assume it's still auto? If so, you may need to replace the safety switch which is a cream coloured unit on the LHS of the btr (AKA - start inhibitor switch). If it has failed, no amount of turning the key will start the b**ch :P As for the brake light fail, are all globes working?

It all in working order.

Apparently there was a "pop" and it stopped working.

It is still auto, and that's one thing I though of, cos as far as I know that light only comes in when it isn't in P or N.
It's just the fact it glows up slowly instead of instantly like normal that has me wondering.

Is there anything else that makes that light come on?

They have changed fuses, relays and the starter motor.

Could it be ignition switch related? The smart lock light is functioning normally, no sign it is active (ie: steady/fast flashing)
