Ive heard stories that from ba onwards are tuned to run on premium. I own a fg xr6 and have tried running it on premium for 2 months straight. I havent noticed any performance difference or has it got any better fuel consumption. Is this all s**t or not? I cant see the point in paying more for it if it isnt doing anything. I realise if the car had mods the benefits would be significant but at the moment it seems like a waste of money. Any thoughts?

in my experience each car regardless of models seem to like a certain fuel but ive also found that different fuel stations get different fuels get a premium from all the stations see what works better if u own a new car i would suggest looking after the motor so premium would be better especially if ford recommend it as it would be a part of the warranty agreement
