I was wondering if the 6cyl and the v8 fuel tank sender units are the same?

only guessing i think the sender may be the same but fuel pump i think not.

what about ED and EF/EL? Are they interchangeable at all? The sender unit itself,not the pump..

pretty sure that the senders from EA>ED are the same and EF>EL are same but they aren't interchangable ... the pump is but not the sender. wagons on the other hand quite possibly

I wouldn't bother i would just take a trip to ya local wreckers and pruchase a 2nd hand sender.... what makes you think you have sender problems

Guage shows either completely full or empty regardless of how much is actually in the tank..
