Hi all, I have a 96 df ltd that I recently swapped motors with an EF fairmont, all went well except for a a few things like it idles like s**t but the donor motor used to run mint when it was still In the fairmont. Also have other questions like to start my ltd I now have to tap the accelerator for it to even start cranking but it starts fine revs hard just won't idle well until I pull the pcv out of the rocker cover. I've tried all I know but I'd appreciate any help

Try swapping the PCV out of the old motor into the current one. Also check the TPS and ISC, make sure they are all connected. Not sure how to check them, but if you still have the original motor, swap parts out and see if that fixes things

Hi, thanks but I've done all of that as well as the original ltd motor had a plate in between the isc and the throttle body that hooked up to the pcv and the normal spot was blocked off but still had the lines to the evap can so I put that on it
