okay........unplug the fuel pump relay....or unplug the power straight from the fuel pump in ur boot. start the car....let it idle or let it run and the engine would stop once there is no more fuel in the fuel line. now u can remove the hose that connects to the fuel rail and then undo all the bolts that hold it down and i guess just yank them out........but i might be wrong with the undoing bolts and yanking part

if i was you i would just take it to a efi specilist and get them to do it .will be more money but thay can do a test on it and get it running smooth .and also it will cost you more $ if you stuff up something.it should only cost you about $150 or so for them to do it

$150? where do u go? I might ship the car over to perth for that price! lol

i'm getting them done for $25 per injector, so $150 all cleaned, flow checked etc.

Just concerned on pulling them out myself and wanting to know whether I have to reduce fuel pressure, or can I just rip them out myself?

well, the way i see it.

do you want just a little bit of fuel to leak out, or do you want a lot to leak out ?

you could just rip them out, just watch out for a hot engine and ur face etc. but its so easy to depressureise, why not do it. takes 30 seconds.

yeah and then start the car so that the rest of the petrol in the fuel line is used up and thus no more pressure =D but u know take with u a cloth just to make sure there might be a tiny amount of petrol coming out. have fun and good luck getting them out =D.

btw 150 bux to get hem cleaned is pretty cheap i say.

I just rip them out. On a cold engine.
