Hi, guys I've got a Supercharged AU2 5.0 V8 LTD and the car hesitates abit when I get on the accelerator so bought a code reader from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150278673944&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=005

But when I turn my key to On or start the engine and try to communicate with the ECU with my code scanner it says cannot communicate.

Do I have to ground a fuse or press a few things to get in diagnostic mode or something?

Please help I'm desperate to fix this up.

This is before I installed the intercooler.

now it runs @ 9psi+ water injection and air to water intercooler with 2 x water pump and 2 x radiator.

Haven't got those pics right now

Just had a quick look at the ebay link and it looks like a CAN bus reader? The AU doesn't have that, only BA upwards.

Unfortunately the AUs are not OBD11 compliant and most of the cheaper tools wont work on them.
