Hi everyone, ive got and aftermarket cruise kit for my 95 xg ute and i need some info on the way the vehicle speed sensor works, i need to know if its square wave or sine wave and what pulse per km they run at?

any help would be greatly appreciated

You'll have to guess it mate... Unless you can find an oscilloscope to measure it... I doubt anyone here would know (though may be wrong), you may have to try and get onto the sender manufacturer...

If I were you I'd have fitted a genuine cruise kit from either an ED or EF/EL and had the simple factory system with integrated steering wheel buttons... Ed system would suit the log manifold but the vac pump and lines is fiddly, and the EF/EL system is easy install but requires a custom (or XH) cable to reach the log manifold...
