My threads are for some light hearted, car related entertainment.

98% of people read them this way and enjoy. Its the 2% that get offended that have something to hide. in this case its those who try to save a buck and complete a shonky home tune who are exposed. They have no idea.

Would you buy a car from someone who "had a red hot crack" to self tune?

If I had the patience, I'd have a go at it.
Not for saving money though, as you can get it tuned cheaper than buying all the gear to do it yourself.

Many of the top tuners in the country invest in dynos to test and develop their tunes have the right equipment to measure afr, measure power outputs etc etc.

But many on here say buying an eBay tuning device will yield similar results.. I'm not opposed to someone learning the craft of tuning but without all of the equipment using their own car as a guinea pig? I find it extraordinary.

Half the problems rattled off on forums are probably a result of backyard tuning attempts. But when the problems happen they don't come clean with the true cause. (Their tuning)..

I've never heard of a quarterhorse? Strange name for a tuning device.

many of the so called top tuners buy dynos and equipment to make money from simple folks that don't understand tuning or how a ecu works..
and even well known tuners stuff up and engines fail from results of there tuning, and they take no responsibility for it, so its a risk either way..
I to am using moates quarterhorse to tune my car.. why pay a tuner $700 to $1400 to do something I can do myself..
and from my own experience even tunes done on dynos don't = real world driving situations, so most of the time any tune related problem on the street wont show up on a dyno, meaning you need to keep going back to the tuner over and over..

You are one total f**k. Wher do you get that they are an Ebay Tuning Device? Moates has been in the bussiness for many years and are US Based http://www.moates.net/ . They have been supplying tuning gear for Ford, GM, Honda & Nissian for years with great success. If you knew anything about cars at all you would have heard of Moates. Next you will be asking "Who is SCT".

Do you know who "Innovate" is?

Where do you get that people are tuning EA's with a QH. QH has been used for EEC IV and EEC V equiped V8's in the US & Aus for years, as well as Ford V6's. There is only one that I know of that is trying to use it with a straight 6 in Aus.

Moates QH allows you to live tune with live data feed, therfore not needing to use a Dyno. You are able to tune on the go with the engine running with live data logging of the results of what you have done. As said before, "Use a Wideband AFR meter" like the Innovate LC1.

Do us all a favour and f**k OFF back where you came from moron.

Uhm. Ford. Mods. Website.

f**k sake. I am lost here.

Why the hell would someone want to modify their car? Why the f**k would someone who modifies their car want to tune it? Why the hell would anyone ever modify anything? It is perfect from factory, of course. You must spend heaps to get a tune done, even though you can learn to do it yourself, with some excellent tools for doing so.

Would you buy a car that was not original in every way? Is success only rated by selling?

Please go and join "www.s**t.com"

I would like to know where Image gets his statistics and facts from.

First guess is his wart infested a**.

FACT - ""98% of people like his threads, only 2% hate.""

Dude, I get less crap than you. And I know for a fact 98% of people hate me.

I, too, ask myself this question regularly. As far as I can ascertain, the answer is...

Sluggish cognitive tempo (SCT) is a cluster of symptoms, and possibly a distinct disorder, characterized by the individual being daydreamy, mentally foggy, easily confused, and staring frequently.

So really, the question should be... Is TURNIP SCT?

Why, yes your honour. I think he is. Either that or just a plain, bog standard, run of the mill, f**k.

Little harsh there SWC i think

I'd love to know how increasing the rev limit & moving the timing a bit could make that big a difference to an E series. Even with a big cam & so on, NA the motor would handle most things. And if it couldn't handle it, it would run like a bucket of s**t.

98% of people probably did enjoy your posts because they are ridiculous, but saying that those 98% are now sick of your b*****t.

Just a thought why do you word your questions better, that is if you really want to have a civilized conversion. You need to realize that peoples opions are different to yours and except it instead of pushing your issue. Unless you are only posting these topics to get peoples reactions

Your sounding like a bible basher

its not just moving the rev limit and playing with timing, you also control the fuel so you are not running rich as f**k like most falcons do when you change cams.

Understand. But that won't blow a motor just the wallet every time you fill it up

you can f**k an engine real quick by running too lean or too much advance etc.

Motors only really do simple things.

AIR and STUFF THAT GOES BANG (air fuel ratio) goes into a cylinder, the SPARK makes the stuff go BANG (timing).

CREATE NEW THREAD ----- Why would you chose not to tune your modified motor? --- AND POST THERE

Right now I am off to kill myself. Slowly. With blunt razors.
