hi all i have a 95 ef fairmont unsure what the catch code is as i havent checked but was wondering would 6DJB ecu from a 97 el fairmont ghia tickford run in my ef or what other mods would need to be done thanks.

nope,ecu loom plug and ignition is different..
ef. ecu is 104 pin and runs coil pack ignition el. ecu is 60 pin and runs distributor ignition.. |

thanks for that so i need to look at ef ecu would it make much difference changing it to a tickford or xr6 ecu

no not really...
tickford had a minimal power increase and the differences were: Final Drive ratio Computer Fuel Reg Cam shaft Head No doubt amongst other things... So just fitting one item is going to make squat difference... You'll get more power out of extractors than the computer change I'd reckon... Cheers, Tim

hi all i have checked the catch code on my ecu and it says its a 4dce and i have a 95 ef fairmont just wondering if this is correct as i have seen it says its for a falcon futura wagon any input would be great.

4DCC - 1994 EF Fairmont Ghia, 4.0, Auto, 3:23
4DCD - 95 EF Fairmont Wagon,4.0, Auto, 3.23 4DCF - EF Fairmont 4.0L Auto 4DCG - EF Fairmont 4.0L 3.23 auto all 4dc? are ef fairmont, just the last letter is the revision |
