hay guys, ok i've got a recond xh xr6 motor that will be goin in my ef fairmont soon but im not sure if its gonna give me dramas with my ecu or not? and is there much else ill have to change? cheers

or could i just reset the fairmont ecu? any help would be much appreciated!

your fairmont ecu will be fine..
you may need to add the crank angle sensor,harmonic balancer and the cam sensor from the ef engine to the xh engine, as xh runs a dizzy and ef runs coil pack.. otherwise your good to go... |

as above, add the sensors to the XH engine from your EF engine and your good to go, im running an ELXr6 engine with an ED gli ECU with no probs

ok yea i no bout the coil packs and sensors but thats good news i can run same ecu excellent. thanks for that guys aye
