Just thought of another problem in that I have a seperate trans computer.

How will i fit the EL cop computer? Will an EL loom solve my problems?

Christ, your bothering with all that for a few small changes like that. Bugger that lol.

Your looking at a big job changing the looms over, and then modifying it to suit your car.

You could unplug the transmission related wires and move them to the ECU plug, but that also sounds like a s**t of a job.

Easier to shift yourself, and fit the trans lockup mod 8-)

You plan on going 5-speed anytime soon?

Will the EL ecu plug into the Cpi computer harness?

If your really keen, change the looms - but I think you'll find you have to cut and shut a fair bit of it.

Do a search on here, theres a mod which allows manual lockup of the convertor.
