so programming in the remote and getting the key cut is all thats required? or do i have to take it to ford?

if you have 2 keys you can program the new one yourself. if you only have one key you will ned to take it to ford or bring it to us to be programmed. see here for the instructions http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=67420

Nice I have been wondering when they were gonna bring these out. I want a flip key for my au, i know you said the focus one wont work with the au but will the flip key, i want one so bad for my au. |

I Have a ute but I'd like to fit a remote lock setup on my hard top, Can the boot button on the keys bet programmed to do this you think?...

It would be great to get rid of the dodgy Remote for the BA and go with the all in one flip key - make me feel like i was driving something flash! HAHA yeah mate you can, LIDLOK do it using the boot pop signal as a trigger. And the ute BCMs still accept the boot pop signal from the remote, I've got an FG sedan flip key for my BFII ute, and pushing the boot button makes the indicators flash once, as if I've opened the boot, then flash fast a couple of times as if to say "you dumb C***, you don't have a boot"
