gday all i am in need of some advice i have a 4 cylinder car and the head gasket may be f**k or on the way out,

what do i need to look for?


current symptems are

white smoke / steam from exhaust,
oil looks like milk chocolate,
little amount of white oil under the oil cap


need help asap

cheers car starts and idles fine but when put in to reverse or drive the revs come right down.

is their any thing that can be done with out it costing a fortune as the car is currently for sale.

also how much can i expect to pay to get this fixed

the car is a daihatsu
