hey guys just wondering if anyone knows of modification packages for the ford capri ( turbo or non turbo ) im talking like the dev mods like you get from jmm motors for the 4.ltr 6cyl.
something that will boost the power without adding turbo/supercharger.
any sites you know of lemme know :D
or any mod packs you know of for a mazda mx5 let me know aswell :)
thanks very much

Give SVO in Ringwood a call, i'v seen a few Ford Capri's with SVO badges on them so im guessing they have worked on them before.

isnt the common mod to drop a V8 between the rails for the Capri's?

be alot more beneficial than wasting money on a four

Edit: ok i assume were not talking about the old classic capri..... forget what i said

best mod for a late model capri......sell it to a hair dresser and buy a MK1 capri GT V6.

Maybe an engine conversion off a MX6/telstar .

Its easy as pie puting a turbo or supercharger on a little 4 cylinder.

id be looking at a cheap blower.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-SC14-Supe ... dZViewItem

or maybe buying a cheap t25 turbo, a "j" pipe into it from a the cast manifold and a quick nip and tuck exhaust wise would be easy, a aftermarket ecu and all for under 2500.

you could get non turbo and turbo versions of the xr2 here. in the usa all xr2's were turbos.

the tickford versions were the clubsprint models, they were a limited run they did a couple of times. had unique front and rear bars, lowered tickford tuned suspension, were strictly a 2 seater instead of a 4, and had a few other bits and peices. they came as turbo and non turbo aswell.

if ur after capri info, this isnt a bad forum, though based in america:

I belive a B6T conversion would be the best way to go on a late capri. They share some of the same gear as the Lasers of the same era.
