just wondering if anyone has turbod there kn kq laser? ive got a 2002 1.8L model that i want to make my own turbo set up for but im just wondering how others have gone in the past and how well do the hold up on standard internals. i dont want rediculous power levels just around 130kw with t25 turbo on 6psi boost with std internals.

try astinagt.com too, mazda 323 = ford laser (all models). A turbo kit does exist and they are quite popular in the U.S. Do a google search for 'Protege turbo kit' or something similar. The KN/KQ/BJ323s have a few different engines, the FS (1.8 and 2.0) don't hold up too well with standard internals under boost from what i hear. The ZM-DE (1.6l) is far more stronger and better suited for a small amount of boost.
